Gazzaoui

MPCB stands for Motor Protection Circuit Breaker. It is a switchgear device used to protect motors from overload and short circuit (and sometimes phase failure).

It combines the functions of a thermal overload relay (protects against sustained overload) and a magnetic/instantaneous trip element (protects against short circuits). Also acts as a disconnecting means.

Widely used in motor starters (direct online, star-delta, etc), in control panels, industrial machines.
