Danfoss - Variable Frequency Drives
Description
A VFD (also called an AC Drive, Inverter, or Variable Speed Drive) is an electronic device that allows you to control the speed (frequency) and torque of an AC motor by varying the input voltage and frequency. Key benefits:
- Energy savings, especially for fan/pump/compressor loads.
- Reduced mechanical wear (softer starting / stopping, less stress).
- Improved process control (matching speed to load, better control of flow/pressure etc.).
- Available Ranges:-VLT® HVAC Basic Drive FC-101,VLT® AQUA Drive (FC-202),VLT® AutomationDrive FC-301 / FC-302,Drives for Compressors & Refrigeration (e.g. FC-103 etc.)
