Successful implementation and operation of building automation systems. They must have expertise in programming languages and protocols relevant to BMS and HAS, as well as a deep understanding of building systems and automation principles. Effective collaboration with various clients and attention to detail are essential for delivering a reliable and efficient building automation solution.

• System Design and Programming: Collaborate with system designers and engineers to understand the requirements and functionalities of the BMS and HAS. Develop control system software and programming logic based on project specifications and design documents.
• Integration: Integrate the BMS and HAS with various building systems and equipment, such as HVAC, lighting, security, and fire safety systems. Ensure seamless communication and interoperability between different components of the building automation system.
• Software Configuration: Configure and program controllers, sensors, actuators, and other devices within the BMS and HAS network. Implement software settings to control and monitor building systems efficiently.
• Graphics and User Interface Development: Design and develop user-friendly graphical interfaces for building operators, facility managers and Clients. Create visual representations of building systems to provide a comprehensive overview of their status and performance.
• Trend Analysis and Reporting: Implement data logging and trend analysis features to track the performance of building systems over time. Generate reports and analytics to help identify trends, energy usage patterns, and potential efficiency improvements.
• Remote Monitoring and Control: Enable remote monitoring and control capabilities to allow facility managers or Clients to access and manage building systems from a centralized location. Implement secure and reliable communication protocols for remote access.
• Commissioning Support: Assist in the commissioning process, ensuring that the BMS and HAS function according to design specifications. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve programming-related issues.
• Training and Documentation: Provide training to building operators, maintenance staff and clients on the use and operation of the BMS and HAS. Create comprehensive documentation, including user manuals and programming guides. Generate as-built drawings and documentation for future reference.
• Upgrades and Maintenance: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, recommending system upgrades or improvements. Provide ongoing support for system maintenance, troubleshooting, and updates.
• Collaboration with Project Team: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful execution of the BMS and HAS project.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by line manager

• Electrical or Computer Science Certificate
• AutoCAD + Microsoft Windows, Office Outlook
• English is a must
  

• Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience.
